Monica Zavala Durazo

Born the butcher's daughter in Douglas, AZ, fiber artist Monica Zavala Durazo works from her home studio in Tucson, AZ. Her focus is sculptural and abstract felt utilizing alpaca, wool, and/or silk. With these natural fibers, she creates non-traditional pottery, tapestries, and mosaics.
